Don’t hesitate. Just go and enjoy the food!! Chips and salsa are always fresh. Food never disappoints - anything you order there are big portions and so good! And the dessert. My God! Don’t miss the Fried Chimichanga with bananas. I’ve taken a couple people here and all they can say is that between the atmosphere and the food - it’s definitely worth the drive and coming back and bringing more people to try it. The staff are also very good and accommodating!
This place is very cozy, very nice decor inside, hand painted chairs and booths. The prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing. Very attentive staff and I would say everyone of them helps each other. The guy who waited on us is actually the bartender! When there is no drink order he helps out the the waiters. Genuinely an enjoyable place. I enjoyed seeing the people that works here.

Cool cantina! We were shopping nearby and in looking for Mexican found Don Jose with great reviews. We had dinner on a Friday night. Although the parking lot was pretty full, we were seated right away. There was a mariachi band walking through restaurant taking requests and performing. This just added another authentic layer to the decor and ambiance. Service was really good. Everyone was very friendly. The table was kept clear of dishes, and food came out fairly quickly. We had enchiladas suiza and shrimp fajitas. The shrimp were seasoned perfectly, and they were huge! We finished off with fried ice cream and espresso truffle. There is a bar, so no byob. We were very pleased with our meal and will be visiting again.

Don Joses is on our regular rotation. It has consistent high quality delicious food and very friendly staff. The bar has DELICIOUS drinks. It is very busy in the weekends but it’s worth the wait. The atmosphere is very fun, almost like you’re on vacation. They have a mariachi band in Saturday night. The singer is VERY talented.

Don Jose has the best salsa in town. My family usually ends up filling ourselves on chips and salsa and bringing our food home to enjoy later. The food is fantastic! The margaritas are also amazing. They have a regular mariachi band that goes around and takes requests. I'm a very big fan!
